Brown Bears Recipe with Woof ‘Em Sticks
We love this recipe for Brown Bears – sweet joys on a stick! We thought how delicious they could be made with Woof ‘Em Sticks! So much fun to make and cook over a campfire, fire pit, barbeque, Kelly Kettle flame or just a carefully set pile of coals in your own backyard. Brown Bears are easy dessert recipes just made for family fun. They’re great as the recipe suggests, but we think even better if you wrap your dough around a Woof ‘Em Stick Cup. Yummy fun for all!
- 1/4 cup ground cinnamon
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough
1. Mix cinnamon and sugar together in a bowl. Melt butter in your cook set pot over your Kelly Kettle. Pour melted butter into another bowl. Separate biscuits and form each piece of dough into a rope 4 to 5 inches long. Wrap the dough pieces around sticks.
2. Hold sticks over campfire and slowly turn until the biscuit dough is browned and set, 8 to 10 minutes. Dip biscuits into melted butter and then into cinnamon sugar. Eat biscuits from sticks.
Helpful Hint: Delicious dipped in melted Sephra Chocolate!
3. Woof ‘Em Stick Option: Wrap dough around the cup of a Woof ‘Em Stick. Toast ’til golden brown over campfire, Kelly Kettle, coals, fire pit, etc. Let cool a minute. Carefully remove toasty dough cup. Have at it! Dip it into butter and cinnamon mixture or fill it with a little butter and cinnamon mixture. Fill it with chocolate pudding, pie filling, ice cream, whipped cream – even savory dishes for dinner. Woof ‘Ems are a delight!
